Treatment

  • Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin, sterile, single-use needles at specific points along acupuncture pathways that correspond to the body’s organ system. Through these acupuncture points, we are able to balance and activate the body’s natural intelligence to heal.

  • New patient sessions start with a review of your current health concerns, treatment goals, and health history. I will feel your pulse and look at your tongue to help design a custom treatment plan. Acupuncture, along with other therapeutic methods, are used to create a holistic healing experience.

Follow-up sessions include a brief assessment of your progress and full acupuncture treatment.

  • Patients often report feeling relaxed during treatments. Some may feel pressure or an achy sensation at acupuncture points that gradually subsides. Different techniques are utilized to ensure your comfort during the session.

  • Yes! All acupuncture needles used during your treatment are sterile and single-use. We source premium and high-quality herbal medicine. We offer our services with the utmost care and consideration of your health and safety.

  • Each patient’s body is unique so their response and timeline for healing with acupuncture will vary as well. The benefits of acupuncture are cumulative so the more treatments received on a regular basis will bring greater results. Patients who come in for regular treatments often see improvements to their overall health beyond the main issue they came in for.

  • This depends on your body’s unique condition, health history and goals. In general, acute and short-term health issues take less visits to resolve while chronic health issues require a longer course of treatment. A course of treatment for a specific health concern could look like weekly sessions for 2-3 months. After, patients may return for health maintenance or preventative wellness tune-ups.

  • In general, acute health issues may resolve with herbal medicine taken for a few weeks. Chronic, long standing conditions may require taking herbal medicine for a few months. While on an herbal plan, we recommend that patients come in regularly to monitor progress and receive follow-up care.

  • We accept cash, check, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Visa/Mastercard Debit, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards, and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.
