Qigong for Anxiety

  • Persimmon Acupuncture 4148 24th St San Francisco United States (map)

A Qigong community class to release stress and help you feel grounded in your mind and body. You will be led through a beginner-level Qigong practice to connect inward through gentle movement, meditation, and breathing techniques. We’ll then have time for community connection while enjoying our soothing herbal tea.

In Chinese Medicine, emotions are energy, and emotions that remain unprocessed become stored in our bodies. Qigong involves intentional movements to optimize the energy of your body, mind, and spirit. It can support overall health and well-being and the regulation of emotions.

How to Prepare

We welcome you to arrive 15 minutes before the class begins to settle into the space. The class will take place outdoors so we suggest wearing warm, comfortable layers and shoes. We recommend avoiding coffee, alcohol, and substances on the day of the class to optimize the benefits.
